Are you new to the world of giving advice to post-16 students?
The UK has the largest higher education (HE) sector in Europe, with over 50,000 courses and over 300 universities and colleges in membership of UCAS. Given all this opportunity, many young people would find the sheer diversity of choice overwhelming if they did not have access to professionally competent advisers in their schools and colleges. As a new adviser, you may be daunted by the prospect of providing the level of professional advice that your students (plus, of course, their parents) will expect.
