The timetable for your decision is governed by the preference the applicant has given each of their choices and by when we received their application.
Rounds are numbered 1 to 3 and denote the time period during which you are able to consider the application. Preferences are also numbered 1 to 3 and show the sequence in which applicants wish their applications to be considered.
Applications are sent to the applicant's first preference in the first round, unless they have missed the deadline (24 March). In this case, they will be sent with the second round and would show round 2/preference 1. You are then able to consider these applications, if you want, after considering those from round 1. If an applicant is rejected by, or declines, an offer in round 1, the application will reach the second round institution showing round 2/preference 2.

If decisions are not received by us by the date specified in any Outstanding Decisions List (ODL) , the applications will be rejected by default. You cannot then give further formal consideration to these applicants until Clearing.
Applications received by us between 25 March and 12 June
We will forward such applications, sequentially in preference order, for you to consider at your discretion. We will give you a date by which to make decisions on these applications.
Applications received after 12 June
Applications received after 12 June will not be forwarded to you. Applicants will be informed that they will be eligible for Clearing. They will then contact you direct through Clearing.
Applicants' replies
An applicant applying only through Route B is given 14 calendar days in which to reply. International applicants are given 21 days.
