If you work in school liaison, outreach activities, widening participation, recruitment or marketing teams within a university or college, then read on. We know that you all have an important role to play in providing information about all aspects of the application cycle to potential applicants. We want to support that.
Preparing the Professionals, a new initiative from UCAS, is all about giving you access to free, accurate and regular information about UCAS and the application process - with a commitment from us to provide regularly updated presentation material and branded UCAS information. All we ask from you is that the content is then passed on to those who need it, during your normal visits to schools.
UCAS currently delivers a range of training and advice sessions to schools and colleges through its professional development programme. We'll continue to do that, but by working more closely with our colleagues in HEIs, we can ensure important messages get to even more potential applicants. The result is that we can be sure applicants know what they can expect from the application process and you can be reassured that the UCAS information you are presenting is 100% up-to-date.
We are currently running a series of launch events, read more about them here. At these events, to be held across the country, you will be able to receive the first set of presentation information. To book your space on one of these sessions, visit the UCAS events page.
