Your son or daughter can apply for a grant

New full-time students from low-income households are able to apply for a non-repayable Maintenance Grant. From September 2008, around one third of eligible students are expected to be entitled to a full Maintenance Grant of up to around 2,835 a year. The amount payable depends on their income and that of their household.
