Can I copy and paste my personal statement into my application from a word-processing package?

Yes. It is better to do this instead of writing directly into Apply. You can enter up to 4,000 characters (this includes spaces) or 47 lines of text (this includes blank lines between paragraphs), whichever comes first.

Please be aware that the character and line count in your word-processing package may differ from Apply.

If you prepared your personal statement using a word-processing package and pasted it into Apply, you may find that any paragraph spacing that you included is not displayed. Don't worry - your chosen universities and colleges will receive the original formatted version.
